I write stories about hidden worlds that exist right next to ours.
My novel The Eutheum Awakening opens the Eutheum series. It is the story of Natuland, a land where ordinary young people from Earth find themselves, and where light and darkness are not always what they seem. In Polish it was published as Eutheum. Przebudzenie. Its world also gave rise to my tarot deck: 78 cards in which the novel's characters and lands become symbols. You can lay them out at eutheum.com.
For younger readers I wrote The Hidden Drop, in Polish Niebiaki w opałach: a story about Lila, one of the Niebiaki, invisible beings from a sky land hidden in the clouds, who quietly help people. One ordinary day, Lila and Kajtek have to save the world.
By profession I am a psychologist and psychotherapist, so human emotions, fears and transformations are something I look at up close. That is probably why my stories are full of them.
I paint, draw and take photographs, because some stories are better told without words. And when I am not writing or painting, I dance salsa.
